A brief system overview is presented of Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) and its Energy Benchmarking Study that reviewed energy use and GHG emission sources. Topics presented include: a review of water losses and water system audits; analysis of results of embedded energy and GHG in water losses; and, water conservation options in terms of an energy management program.
