The challenge of changing hydrological andmeteorological conditionscompounded by man-made threats is presented, along with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Disaster Management Initiative that consists of the following components: Analysis - research/gap analysis and tabletop exercise;Development - IAC and work groups, andtabletop exerciserollout; Training - tabletop, functional exercises; and,Sustainment - plan updates, andtraining and exercises.
