This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Birmingham, Alabama, Water Works (BWWSB). Information is presented on tracking recent NRW at BWWSB, along with transitioning from "UAW" to NRW (2003). Drivers for minimizing water loss (2007) are presented, along with the standard water balance format, and causes and potential solutions for apparent losses and real losses. The BWWSB Water Loss Reduction Plan is presented.
