This standard covers the material and application requirements for fusion-bonded epoxy coatings for the interior and exterior of steel water pipe, special sections, welded joints, connections, and fittings for steel water pipelines installed underground or underwater. Fusion-bonded epoxy coatings are heat-activated, chemically cured coating systems.
