This powerpoint presentation presents an Inventory Management Project at the Cleveland Division of Water (CWD). Thekey objectives of the project were to: increase focus on improvingCWD's overall accountability; identify targeted operational improvementopportunities; evaluate existing business processes; and,develop and implement strategic CWD inventorymanagement policies and procedures. The CWD is upgrading its currentEllipse Work Management System to Ellipseversion 6. The effort will consist of upgradingthe current modules to the new version,purchasing additional required modules,purchasing the new Ellipse reporting tool,conversion of reports, and related professionaland training services. CWD recommendations are presented, along with mobile computing, managinginventories and cyclecounts, improving inventory record accuracy, and common inventory problems.
