This powerpoint presentation begins by providing background information on Tampa Bay Water and the Lithia Water Treatment Plant in Hillsborough County, Florida. The presentation presents a study on treatment alternatives for Hsub2/subSremoval while meeting water quality (WQ) standards.Parameters of greatest concern include:Hsub2/subS: 0.1 mg/L; and, turbidity: 1.0 NTU. The study alsoevaluated treatment alternatives that consistently met the above criteria.
