This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the Greater Vancouver Water District, water supply area, and watersheds. The Drinking Water Management Plan goals for the GVWD and member municipalities is outlined and includes: providing clean, safe drinking water;ensuring the sustainable use of water; and, ensuring the efficient supply of water. A Watershed Management Plan is presented and includes: Water Monitoring Forest Ecosystem Management; Fire Management; Erosion Control; Road Network; and, Watershed Security.
