This powerpoint presentation presents the research hypothesis in three parts: decrease in pH; alternative electron acceptor; and, patchy biofilm formation. Research objectives included:evaluate the effect of nitrification onlead leaching; and,elucidate the biological mechanismsthat contribute to lead corrosion. The experimental setup is provided, along with the experimental design and lead corrosion thermodynamics.
