This slide presentation outlines The Aesthetic Water Quality Challenge which includes:rising customer expectations for taste,odor, and appearance;equated to healthfulness of the water;limited aesthetic water quality data,operational information, or complaint tracking;how to understand/address issues;consumers reluctant to pay more forwater not meeting aestheticrequirements; and,especially problematic when constructingnew treatment and need rate increase.
