This slide presentation outlines information on pharmaceuticals and endocrine disruptors inthe environment,potential health effects,sources and routes of exposure, and outlines an AwwaRF tailored collaboration titled, " Toxicological Relevance of Pharmaceuticals and Endocrine Disruptors in Drinking Water". The presentation begins by outlining background information on pharmaceuticals and endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC), and outlines a variety of sources of EDCs and EDC health concerns, lists toxicological and pharmacological data, and mutiple routes of exposure. Specific topics outlined concerning pharmaceuticals include: selection of target pharmaceuticals; Draft Candidate List ofpharmaceuticals; and, development of toxicity criteria.
