Specific topics covered include: development of the standard; topics covered in the standard; evaluation process; drinking water system components, Required analysis for health effects(Based on material type and formulation); Toxicology Evaluation of metals and organiccompounds; acceptance criteria; on-going development of NSF 61relative to lead; potential lead contributions from multiplein-line and end-point devices; new models to estimate potential effects ofmultiple devices in close proximity are beingdeveloped; acid washed products; and, extraction water chemistries.
