Full Description

The Las Vegas Valley Water District uses water quality modeling to meet regulatoryrequirements and to address water quality throughout its distribution system. Thispresentation describes the Las Vegas Valley Water District's approach to meet the InitialDistribution System Evaluation (IDSE) and the proposed Stage 2 D/DBP Rulerequirements. Water quality issues unique to a rapidly growing environment,development and use of a full system model for meeting the IDSE requirements, and theDistrict's participation in the AWWARF project "Localized Treatment for DisinfectionByproducts" are presented.
