This slide presentation outlines information on an effort by a utility to switch to chloramine to reduce disinfection byproducts (DBPs). The modeling objective was to identify best places to flush, along with identifying operating methods to minimize mixing in tanks, predicting mixing problems with small purchased supply, and identifying solutions for each problem area.
