This slide presentation gives a definition of "information overload" as the gap between the volume of information and the tools available to assimilate the information into useful knowledge. A solution to solving information overload is suggested by following seven principles of knowledge management that include: context; simplicity; relevance; personalization; intuitive; collaboration; and, access.
