Gwinnett County, Georgia is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. Thispaper describes the field data collection on transmission mains for calibration of the WaterCADwater distribution system hydraulic model developed for capital improvement planning. Fielddata collection for determination of pipe friction factors and hydraulic gradients involves field-testingof flow and pressures on a minimum of 15 water transmission mains.
