The purpose of this paper is to describe the multiple uses of the Water Authority's new high-service pumping stations in this highly developed suburban water system. Both the pumping stations themselves and the facility sites are designed to serve multiple roles. Emphasis was placed on landscaping, aesthetics, and noise control.
