Elizabethtown Water Company is not only placing a high priority on developing models of its entire distribution systems, but also integrating the use of the models in the daily decision making. The question, "Can We Serve?", must be answered quite frequently in the office place. So Elizabethtown decided to address this situation in a more effective manner. This paper describes Elizabethtown's approach utilizing computer modeling in the planning and design of the distribution system.
