This paper describes the AMEX-10/WEKO-SEAL Internal Sealing System for joint repair. The internal seal is a mechanical leak clamp consisting of a preformed rubber seal that is installed on the inside of the pipe, sealing against the pipe wall on either side of the joint. The system allows the pipe joint to move without harming the seal's integrity, and internal pipe pressure works with the seal.
