Purpose

Bridges, as specified by this standard, allow the compatible interconnection of information technology equipment attached to separate individual LANs.

Abstract

Amendment Standard - Superseded.Procedures and managed objects for Bridges and end stations to perform Asynchronous Traffic Shaping over full-duplex links with constant bit data rates are specified in this amendment to IEEE Std 802.1Q(TM)-2018.
